Over the past year, there has been a tremendous amount of discussion—and turmoil—surrounding the Affordable Care Act, primarily focused on what is in the legislation and the requirements for employers and employees. Left out of this conversation, so far, is what the ACA “means” to employers, that is, how they can keep employees healthy, at work and highly performing. This panel of industry leaders addressed these key issues from the health care, absence/disability management, wellness and wellbeing, consulting and employer perspectives, with a focus on solutions.
