Regional Event Recap: Employer Wellness Strategies and Leave Policies

In September of 2017, IBI hosted a regional event in Denver, CO to showcase how local employers address the health and benefits needs of their workforces.

Susan Tinger of Holland & Hart shared her experience engaging employees in a comprehensive wellness program. Jennifer Stroh, who works for the City of Colorado Springs, discussed another approach to designing and implementing a wellness program, one that controls costs with an on-site medical clinic and pharmacy. The final panelist was Laura Earley, who explored the financial, technical and emotional considerations faced when implementing unlimited PTO at her former employer.

In addition to the presentations led by these experienced Human Resources professionals, the half-day workshop concluded with a panel moderated by Dr. Brian Gifford, IBI Director of Research and Measurement.
