Employers are showing growing interest in health & productivity, and they also understand the need to measure the business impact of the effects of their interventions. But, what about employers just starting out that can’t yet command the resources to establish integrated data warehouses to do just that? IBI is collaborating on a research project using Dr. Ron Kessler’s HPQ to measure lost productivity and its business effects. Reported results show how lost productivity dwarfs medical costs and demonstrate the business impact from health-related productivity savings compared to its equivalent in revenue growth.
