This Research Insights focuses on the impacts of health risk and co-morbidity on absence and job performance (presenteeism). We find that, for this largely medication-adherent population, increasing health risks is a significant predictor of lower job performance across all medical conditions studied and co-morbidity is a marker for absence in five of nine conditions.This Research Insights focuses on the impacts of health risk and co-morbidity on absence and job performance (presenteeism).
